Position Overview

This position requires highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented, driven individuals to lead multiple, high-profile, concurrent projects. You'll work with drawings, materials, specifications and budgets to successfully deliver assigned projects on time and with precise accuracy.

 

Responsibilities
  • Review architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand stone scope.

  • Coordinate with architects, designers, contractors, and clients.

  • Select and source stone materials

  • Review and approve stone samples and mock-ups.

  • Monitor quarry or supplier lead times.

  • Oversee stone procurement, inventory, and delivery schedules.

  • Coordinate with fabrication shops for cutting, edging, and finishing.

  • Ensure drawings (shop drawings/CAD files) are accurate for fabrication.

  • Approve shop drawings before production.

  • Act as the primary point of contact between clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

  • Prepare progress reports and documentation.

  • Address and resolve issues related to delays, material shortages, or installation challenges.

  • Troubleshoot on-site discrepancies between plans and field conditions.

  • Assist with the preparation of quotations, order confirmations, purchase orders, change orders & invoices for both domestic and international customers & suppliers.

  • Assist with and follow up on orders placed with vendors, coordinate and track factory production schedule, dates of availability, quality control, and vessel schedules.

  • Assist with the execution of extensive quality assurance procedures, ensuring the product meets/exceeds customer expectations.

  • Develop and maintain project status reports to keep the client informed about the status of their order(s).

  • Expedite the delivery of the material

  • Assist in the generation of proposals for clients.

  • Create project-specific presentations.


Qualifications
  • Strong computer skills, with an emphasis on Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD and reading architectural drawings and trade shop drawings.

  • OSHA 10 & OSHA 30, preferred

  • Experience in Project Management within the Stone & Tile Industry, preferred.

  • Capable of managing multiple, time-sensitive, high-pressure tasks independently.
