Travelstead Powered By Axis (TTG), a leading third-party logistics provider is currently seeking multiple Account Managers in our Baltimore, MD, Piscataway, NJ, and Rancho Dominguez, CA offices.

Position Overview:

The Account Manager will serve as the primary communicator with clients regarding all high-level activities. They will enhance customer integration and retention by providing a single point of contact for customer account interaction and swift issue resolution. They will be responsible for monitoring the data integrity of shipments in the operating platform.

  • Identify customer performance expectations and measurements through dialog with customers, sales, and operations;

  • Assist implementation of customer performance expectations and measurements with senior leadership and the sales team;

  • Serve as an expediter and single point of contact when necessary for particularly critical, complex, or larger customer orders;

  • Perform root cause analysis and issue resolution on the customer’s behalf;

  • Ensure all foreign agents' requests are quoted and handled with a sense of urgency and by the required timeline

  • Analyze all aspects of international logistics to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means of transporting products that meet budget performance and minimize transit times

  • Ensure all customer maintenance is updated with current customer information, including maintaining current contact information, operational details, and auto-email notifications;

  • Audit customer charges and costs as needed to ensure proper billing and to determine appropriate profit margins; audit invoices on a predetermined schedule;

  • Responsible for maintaining all customer reports;

  • Monitor, order, and ship any supplies and air bills the customer requests;

  • Performs other duties as assigned;

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or Logistics preferred

  • Retail and or Hospitality experience preferred

  • Two or more years in a customer service role in the transportation industry; strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; Strong understanding of MS Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Able to navigate the TMS system.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license

  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Transportation software; CRM software helpful
