  • Is this donation tax deductible?
    Yes. PAVE is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipts as your official record. Receipts will be emailed to you upon successful completion of your donation.
  • How will I be charged?
    After choosing an amount to give each month, your preferred method of payment (credit/debit card or ACH) will be automatically charged on the date of your choosing.
  • Will I receive a receipt and a tax statement?
    A donation receipt will be sent to you at the email address you provide at checkout. Please be sure to keep a copy of your receipt for tax purposes. You will be sent an individual receipt each month when your donation is processed. Tax statements will be sent annually in time for you to file early.
  • Is my donation secure?
    Yes! Your full credit card number is NEVER available to PAVE or Kindful. Your card information is encrypted using industry-standard SSL technology to protect your information and provide a safe and secure environment for online donations.
  • How can I change my monthly giving amount or update my credit card information?
    To change your giving amount or credit card information, log in to your Kindful donor profile. This was created for you automatically the first time you donated through the Kindful platform. Once you’ve logged in, you will be able to edit your recurring donation amount, as well as your credit card billing information. Once this is completed, the changes will take effect on the next scheduled billing date of your transaction. If you do not remember your login, click "Forgot Password" and enter the email address where you receive your donation receipts.
  • How can I cancel my monthly donation?
    Your recurring donation can be cancelled through the Kindful Donor Account. Go to and sign in to your Donor Account in the top right. If you no longer prefer to billed on a recurring basis, select "Cancel" next to your recurring donation. You will then be asked to confirm that you would like to cancel your recurring donation. This is all that needs to be done to cancel your recurring donation. Please note that there will not be a confirmation email sent when this is cancelled.

  • What does my Champions of Design donation do?
    Your monthly gift directly funds PAVE Student Aid Program. The PAVE Student Aid Program supports students experiencing financial difficulties who are currently studying interior design, architecture, visual merchandising, industrial design, UX/UI Design, and other similar programs that prepare them for careers in the design and creation of consumer environments.
  • Can I give a different amount than what's suggested?
    Yes, of course! The donation form should give you the opportunity to type in your desired gift amount. Please only donate what you feel comfortable with, donations can be cancelled at any time. Please note that the minimum donation allowed by Kindful for automated monthly donations is $10.
